The Young Scientists Summit (YSS) is a flagship initiative of the Nepal Polymer Institute (NPI), Kathmandu, Nepal, a national adhering organization of IUPAC. It serves as a national-level platform that brings together enthusiastic youths from across the country to foster their involvement in scientific and technological development. The summit aims to inspire and empower young researchers, scientists, and students by encouraging them to share their research ideas, innovative projects, and aspirations that contribute to national progress. It is dedicated to recognizing the talent of Nepalese youth and promoting their role in building a prosperous future through science, technology, and innovation. The winners of the YSS-2025 will be selected based on their extended abstract, poster, and oral presentation. The main criterion for project selection will be the novelty of the research. The title of 'Young Scientist' will be awarded to winners in five distinct categories, accompanied by certificates and medals. The award winners will be eligible to apply for participation in the Asia Pacific Conference of Young Scientists (APCYS-2026), which is going to be held in Thailand. Other research and innovation opportunities at both national and international levels will be provided to the YSS awardees. .
